Over the years several organizations have been formed that advocate for human, civil and migrants rights and ensure that every individual feels safe and confident in and out of their country.

The Border Network for Human Rights is a group established to ensure that that there is a just and fair reforms on immigration. With the tension around the country and the bordering nations, this advocacy group makes sure that they shed a light to the nation and the government on any brutalities taking place around the borders and create awareness.

The Human Rights Foundation is a global non-profit organization that was established in 2005. The main goal of the organization is to ensure that the rights and freedoms of humans are protected and preserved at all times regardless of the person and their ethnicity. The organization uses donations to create awareness and advocate for the rights of humans.

Among the organizations that have been dedicated to ensuring human and immigrants’ rights have been protected is the Larkin & Lacey Fund.

The organization’s main purpose is to support other organizations that share in their vision to end deaths and any discrimination based on race and ethnicity. The fund was began by Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin, using the money they obtained from a settlement pending their arrest.

In all their career, Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin have been advocating for the rights of humans and their first amendment. For many years, they have learned their rights and fought for the rights of individuals and especially the minorities. After their arrest, they impacted the globe in a way they knew all too well. The Larkan & Lacey Fund shines a light on the issues that regards the borders and the immigrants.

Among the variuous organizations that Larkin & Lacey Fund supports include:

In addition to supporting other organizations, the Larkin & Lacey Fund has begun various projects in schools and institutions that help create awareness to students.

More recently, the two founders established a Borderline Issue Chair that ensure students at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism learn first-hand the need to advocate and fight for the rights of the minorities.
